Fire Law

We all have a role to play in protecting ourselves and others from fire.

These roles are set out in the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005*. Part 3 of the Act specifies who has responsibility for fire safety in non-domestic premises in Scotland.
If you are a user or occupier of non-domestic premises or a house in multiple occupation which requires a licence, please ensure you check your responsibilities for fire safety.
*These roles are also set out in the Regulatory Reform ( Fire Safety ) Order 2005 in England and Wales and Northern Ireland Order 2010.
Self employed workers have twice the death rate than employees. 40% of the fatalities are workers over 60 years old. 12:18:50 Jul 05th 17 days ago . Reply . Retweet . Favorite
